Marshall RV Tent Camper Rental Information

RENTAL PERIODS: You may choose to rent the tent camper any number of days. Marshall RV works with its customers to custom fit the rental period that meets their needs.

RENTAL RATES: (Examples)

Week (Day of checkout between 1:00 PM & 4:00 PM Day of return Friday by noon) - $350.00

Weekend (Friday checkout between 1:00 PM & 4:00 PM return Monday by noon) - $250.00

Rates based on out by 4:00 PM, in by noon. NO REFUNDS FOR EARLY RETURN.

SANITATION FEE: A mandatory fee of $60.00 is assessed to sanitize the rental unit upon your return.

INSURANCE: You are financial responsible for damage to the rental tent camper (approximate value $5,000). Your automobile insurance may or may not cover this rental unit. You will need to provide proof of automobile insurance. You may reduce your financial responsibility to $500 by purchasing the Collision Damage Waiver option at $10/day. Collision Damage Waiver is not insurance and is not mandatory to rent a tent camper.
COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER IS VOID IF THE CUSTOMER VIOLATES THE TERMS OF THE RENTAL AGREEMENT.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: A $500 security deposit is required upon departing with the tent camper. This can be done by either personal check or credit card verification. The check/credit card verification is held until your return. A "Tent Camper Damage and Inventory" checklist will be completed and signed by you and a rental staff member when the tent camper is picked up. When you return the tent camper, this same checklist will be used for check-in. If there are no items missing, no damage or cleaning that needs to be done, final rental charges are then calculated and any excess is refunded or extra charges are due. If there is no damage, the original security deposit is returned to you at that time. Renters will be charged actual cost of repair for any damage to the unit's interior or exterior. If you have purchased the optional Collision Damage Waiver, you may limit your liability to $500. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR EARLY RETURNS.

RESERVATIONS: A 25% (of your anticipated rental fee) NON-REFUNDABLE advance is required to hold the dates that you have requested. This advance is applied to the cost of the rental at the time you pick up the tent camper, but is not refunded if you cancel your reservation. You will be required to sign a Reservation Fee Acknowledgment form, acknowledging that you understand this advance is non-refundable, before your dates will be reserved.

NON-SMOKING POLICY: SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE TENT CAMPER. If the unit comes back smelling from tobacco smoke, you will be charged a minimum of two hours as a cleaning fee to eliminate this odor.

CLEANING: The tent camper exterior and interior will be clean when you depart Marshall RV. You are asked to return the tent camper at least as clean as when you picked it up. If you do not feel the tent camper is clean when you pick it up please let the rental staff member know so the problem can be corrected. We will clean the tent camper if you cannot, do not or if you wish us to do this service for you. For $60.00 we will clean the unit for you (pre-departure fee).If unit is returned unclean, charge will be $120.00.

AGREEMENT: You will be required to fill out a short application agreement that will only take a few minutes to complete. If you cannot agree to the simple terms of this contract, we will not rent to you.

ORIENTATION: Marshall RV will provide a complete orientation to your tent camper.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Rentals are new VIKING EPIC 1906 tent campers that will sleep six. Each is equipped with a 2 burner stove, furnace, refrigerator and sink. Your tow vehicle will require at least a class II hitch with a 2" ball and wiring for a flat 4 plug. Marshall RV installs hitches and can wire your tow vehicle. Typical cost for a class II permanent hitch and wiring is approximately $300.00. Please call for a separate appointment.
