Marshall RV Motor Home Rental Information

MOTORHOMES: Marshall RV, Inc. rents a new Coachmen Freelander Class C motorhome on a Ford chassis' (8-10 miles per gallon). The 32' motorhome, model 3150SO sleeps eight. Has seating for up to 10. The Motorhome is new and is fully self contained with full kitchen and bath facilities, has Cab and Roof Air Conditioning as well as a Generator and a Slideout.

RENTAL PERIOD: You may choose to rent the motorhome for any number of days (minimum 3-day charge for low season and 5-day charge for high season). Marshall RV works with its customers to custom fit the rental period that meets their needs based on availability.

ORIENTATION: Marshall RV will provide a complete walk thru of your motorhome and all RV components. Instruction booklets are included with the vehicle.

RENTAL RATES: The 32' motorhome rents for $200.00 per day or $1295.00 per week. The unit will be checked out between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm on your date of departure (Pick up is Monday thru Friday) and is due back by noon on your date of return. UNITS RETURNED LATE WILL FORFEIT THE SECURITY DEPOSIT. Daily rental, mileage, mandatory sanitation fee, security deposit, and optional collision damage waiver and are payable upon departure. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR EARLY RETURNS. (Note: We have special winter rates)

SANITATION FEE: A mandatory fee of $125.00 is assessed to sanitize the rental unit upon your return. (This is not a cleaning fee)

MILEAGE: 100 Free Miles Per Day - Miles over are charged at $.40 per mile. An adjustment to actual mileage is made upon your return. (Example: 7 Days Rented = 700 Free Miles, Miles Travel 1500 = 1500 - 700 = 800 x .40 = $320.00)

GASOLINE: You will pick up the motorhome with a full tank of gas (approximately 55 gallons). You are responsible for returning the motorhome with a full tank of gas. If we have to refill the tank, you will be charged at a rate of $8.00 per gallon. The cost of gasoline is the renters responsibility.

GENERATOR: You will be charged $5.00 per hour for generator usage. That is $.50 per tenth hour. The generator operates off of the motorhome's gasoline fuel tank. If the motorhomes gasoline fuel tank is at a quarter tank or below the generator will not operate.

COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER: You are financially responsible for damage to the rental motorhome (approximate value $75,000.00). You will need to provide proof of automobile insurance. You may reduce your financial responsibility to $1000.00 by purchasing the Collision Damage Waiver option at $25.00 per day. Collision Damage Waiver is not insurance and is not mandatory to rent a vehicle. COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER IS VOID IF THE CUSTOMER VIOLATES THE TERMS OF THE RENTAL AGREEMENT.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: A $1000.00 security deposit is required upon departing with the motorhome. This can be done by either personal check or credit card verification. The check/credit card verification is held until your return. A Motorhome Damage and Inventory checklist will be completed and signed by you and a rental staff member when the motorhome is picked up. When you return the motorhome, this same checklist is used for check-in. If there are no items missing, no damage or cleaning that needs to be done, final rental charges are calculated and any excess is refunded and extra charges are due. If there is no damage, the original security deposit is returned to you within 10 working days assuming all requirements are met. (Unit must be returned with a full tank of fuel, clean inside and outside, and undamaged). Renters will be charged actual cost of repair for any damage to the unit's interior or exterior. If you have purchased the optional Collision Damage Waiver you may limit your liability to $1000.00.

NON-SMOKING POLICY: SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE MOTORHOME. If the unit comes back smelling from tobacco smoke, you will be charged a minimum of $500.00 as a cleaning fee to eliminate this odor.

CLEANING: The motorhome exterior and interior will be clean when you depart Marshall RV. You are asked to return the motorhome at least as clean as when you picked it up. If you do not feel the motorhome is clean when you pick it up, please let the rental staff member know so the problem can be corrected. We will clean the motorhome if you cannot, do not or if you wish us to do this service for you. The fee is $150.00 to clean and dump the tanks on the unit for you (pre-departure fee). If you choose not to pay this pre-departure fee and the unit comes back unclean you will be charged $250.00 for us to clean the unit.

RESERVATIONS: A 25% (of your anticipated rental fee) NON-REFUNDABLE advance against the rental will be required to hold the dates that you have requested. This advance is applied to the cost of your rental but IS NOT REFUNDED IF YOU CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION. You will be required to sign a Reservation Fee Acknowledgment form, acknowledging that you understand this advance is non-refundable, before your dates will be reserved.

AGREEMENT: You will be required to fill out and sign a short application agreement that will only take a few minutes to complete. If you cannot agree to the simple terms of this contract we will not rent to you.

OTHER POTENTIAL CHARGES: Cleaning fees are $150.00 per hour upon return of the unit if prior arrangements have not been made. The holding tanks are empty upon departure. If we need to dump the tanks upon return, you will be charged $100.00 for this service, unless prior arrangements have been made .A bike rack is also available for rent at an $8.00 per day charge.
