Marshall RV Motor Home Rental Information

MOTORHOMES: Marshall RV rents a 2006 Coachmen 26' Freelander Class C motorhome on a Ford chassis' (10 miles per gallon). The 26' motorhome, model 2600SO (with slide-out), sleeps six. Motorhomes are new (less than 30,000 miles) and are fully self contained with full kitchens and bathroom facilities. Motorhomes have cab and roof air conditioning as well as a generator.

RENTAL PERIOD:

You may choose to rent the motorhome for any number of days (minimum 3 day charge). Marshall
RV works with its customers to custom fit the rental period that meets their needs based on availability.

ORIENTATION: Marshall RV will provide a complete introduction to your motorhome and all RV components. Instruction booklets are included with the vehicle.

RENTAL RATES: The 26' motorhome rents for $140 per day. The unit will be checked out between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm on your date of departure and is due back by noon on your date of return. UNITS RETURNED LATE WILL FORFEIT THE SECURITY DEPOSIT. Daily rental, mileage, mandatory sanitation fee, optional collision damage waiver and security deposit are payable upon departure. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR EARLY RETURNS.

SANITATION FEE: A mandatory fee of $100 is assessed to sanitize the rental unit upon your return.

MILEAGE: Round trip mileage is estimated prior to your departure. You will receive 100 miles per day free miles in excess of free miles charged at 35 cents per mile. An adjustment to actual mileage is made upon your return.

GASOLINE: You will pick up the motorhome with a full tank of gas (approximately 50 gallons). You are responsible for returning the motorhome with a full tank of gas. If we have to refill the tank, you will be charged at a rate of $5.00 per gallon. The cost of gasoline is the renters responsibility.

GENERATOR: You will be charged 5 dollars per hour for generator usage. That is $.50 per tenth hour. The generator operates off of the motorhomes gasoline fuel tank. If the motorhomes gasoline fuel tank is at a quarter tank or below the generator will not operate.

COLLISION WAIVER DAMAGE: You are financial responsible for damage to the rental motorhome (approximate value $45,000). You will need to provide proof of automobile insurance. You may reduce your financial responsibility to $1000 by purchasing the Collision Damage Waiver option at $20/day. Collision Damage Waiver is not insurance and is not mandatory to rent a vehicle. COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER IS VOID IF THE CUSTOMER VIOLATES THE TERMS OF THE RENTAL AGREEMENT.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: A $1000 security deposit is required upon departing with the motorhome. This can be done by either personal check or credit card verification. The check/credit card verification is held until your return. A "Motorhome Damage and Inventory" checklist will be completed and signed by you and a rental staff member when the motorhome is picked up. When you return the motorhome, this same checklist will be used for check-in. If there are no items missing, no damage or cleaning that needs to be done, final rental charges are calculated and any excess is refunded or extra charges are due. If there is no damage, the original security deposit is returned to you at that time. Renters will be charged actual cost of repair for any damage to the unit's interior or exterior. If you have purchased the optional Collision Damage Waiver you may limit your liability to $1000.

NON-SMOKING POLICY: SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE MOTORHOME. If the unit comes back smelling from tobacco smoke, you will be charged a minimum of two hours as a cleaning fee to eliminate this odor.

CLEANING: The motorhome exterior and interior will be clean when you depart Marshall RV. You are asked to return the motorhome at least as clean as when you picked it up. If you do not feel the motorhome is clean when you pick it up please let the rental staff member know so the problem can be corrected. We will clean the motorhome if you cannot, do not or if you wish us to do this service for you. For $100.00 we will clean and dump the unit for you (pre-departure fee).

RESERVATIONS: A 25% (of your anticipated rental fee) NON-REFUNDABLE advance against the rental will be required to hold the dates that you have requested. This advance is applied to the cost of your rental but IS NOT REFUNDED IF YOU CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION. You will be required to sign a Reservation Fee Acknowledgment form, acknowledging that you understand this advance is non-refundable, before your dates will be reserved.

AGREEMENT: You will be required to fill out and sign a short application agreement that will only take a few minutes to complete. If you cannot agree to the simple terms of this contract we will not rent to you.

OTHER POTENTIAL CHARGES: Cleaning fees are $100.00 per hour with a minimum of one hour. The holding tanks are empty upon departure. If we need to dump the tanks upon return, you will be charged $50.00 for this service.
